Disassembly & Reassembly

Build Your Own Watch — And Take It Home

Level 1

Beginner

Description:
Your introduction to the internal mechanics of a manual-winding watch. Learn how a movement functions by taking it apart and reassembling it under professional guidance.

​

You will learn:

  • Anatomy of a mechanical movement

  • Tool handling & safety

  • Full disassembly

  • Understanding escapement, gear train & barrel

  • Step-by-step reassembly

  • Basic timing test

​

Outcome:
A solid technical foundation — required to move to Level 2.

Level 2

Intermediate

Description:

Advance your skills with lubrication techniques, deeper mechanical understanding, and professional regulation practices.

​

You will learn:​

  • Full disassembly

  • Understanding escapement, gear train & barrel

  • Step-by-step reassembly by oiling barrel, gear train, escapement & setting system

  • Timing adjustments

​

Outcome:
You will complete a functioning, regulated movement — required for Level 3.

Level 3

Advanced

Description:
The ultimate experience. Service the movement, install the dial and hands, case the watch, and take home the timepiece you’ve built.

You will learn:

  • Complete Level 2 servicing

  • Dial installation

  • Hands setting and alignments

  • Casing & sealing

  • Fine tunning 

  • Final QC testing

​

You leave with:
✔ A fully functioning mechanical watch
✔ Built & regulated by you
✔ A unique horological experience

​

Optional Upgrade:
Custom dial printing (+$100)
