Our Vision
At Trillium Watch Service, our long-term vision is to redefine the standards of watch servicing in Canada by placing excellence, transparency, innovation, and education at the core of everything we do. As passionate, Swiss-trained watchmakers, Charles and I are dedicated to elevating the craft of horology and preserving the integrity of every timepiece entrusted to us.
We believe exceptional service starts with uncompromising quality. Every watch we receive is treated with the utmost respect, precision, and attention to detail—values deeply rooted in generations of traditional watchmaking. This commitment to craftsmanship continually drives us to refine our service processes and elevate our diagnostic methods.

Our vision is simple yet ambitious:
to build a company where craftsmanship meets innovation, where trust is reinforced through clarity, where creativity enhances tradition, and where every client—collector, retailer, or microbrand—feels supported, informed, and connected to the artistry behind their timepiece.
Trillium Watch Service is more than a repair center. It is a modern watchmaking destination committed to excellence, education, personalization, brand development, and an elevated customer journey.
Meet The Owners
Watchmaking is in our blood. Our story began in Paris in 1920, when my great-grandfather opened his first boutique, dedicating his life to precision, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance. Over the decades, each generation has carried forward the passion for horology, combining traditional techniques with modern innovations.

As the fourth generation, I, Sevan Khidichian, continue this family tradition with the same dedication and love for fine timepieces. From my training in Paris to years of experience at Cartier and Patek Philippe, I bring a European standard of excellence to every watch that comes through our doors.

This heritage isn’t just about the past — it shapes how we serve our clients today. Every restoration, service, or appraisal is a reflection of decades of knowledge, skill, and respect for the art of watchmaking.
With extensive experience in business management and strategic development, Charles leads Trillium Watch Service with a vision for growth and excellence.
Before co-founding Trillium, he served as Office Manager and Head Watchmaker at Bulova, where he built a reputation for precision, leadership, and technical mastery. As a renowned watchmaker and one of the few in Canada holding a formal degree in watchmaking, Charles combines deep horological expertise with strong organizational leadership.
His role ensures that Trillium not only delivers world-class watchmaking services but also provides an exceptional customer experience. Together with Sevan, Charles is committed to elevating after-sales service standards across Canada.
Where Our Watchmaking Journey Began

Vahakn Khidichian
The Great-Grandfather
Circa: 1920
Our Beginnings:
Horlogerie Chabrol

Our family’s watchmaking journey began with my great-grandfather, Vahakn, who immigrated to Marseille, France, at the end of World War I. It was there that he discovered and learned the art of watchmaking — a craft that would shape the next four generations.

A few years later, he moved to Paris and opened his own boutique and workshop on Rue de Chabrol in the 10th district. He named it Horlogerie Chabrol, a small atelier built on precision, dedication, and the belief that every timepiece deserved meticulous care.
This is where our legacy was born.

A Legacy Continued: Horlogerie Clairon

My grandfather Jean followed in his father’s footsteps, becoming a watchmaker after graduating from the French watchmaking school shortly after the Second World War.
With the same dedication to craftsmanship, he opened his own boutique and workshop on Rue de Pali-Kao in the 20th district of Paris.
He named it Horlogerie Clairon, a place where precision, tradition, and family values once again shaped the workbench.

Norbert Khidichian
The Father
Circa: 1990
The Third Generation: Horlogerie Norbert

My father, Norbert, continued the family tradition, learning the craft through a classic apprenticeship with a master watchmaker in the 16th district of Paris. When his mentor retired, he took over the workshop and renamed it Horlogerie Norbert, carrying forward the family’s commitment to precision and integrity.
Today, he is regarded as one of the finest clock and antique watch specialists in France. He also serves as the official Maître du Temps of a historic French institution, where he is responsible for the weekly winding and maintenance of 82 historical clocks, preserving pieces of national heritage with exceptional care and skill.
